Attorney Profile

Attorney Benjamin Hartford grew up in Columbus, Ohio and after graduating from Bexley High School he went south to attend the University of Florida where he majored in History and minored in theater. Upon graduating from university he spent the next three years as a professional guide where people trusted him with their lives and wellbeing while learning outdoor skills. After traveling around various areas of this great county as a guide Benjamin Hartford then applied for law school and was ultimately accepted to the University of Denver Strum College of Law as a recipient of a scholarship.

He graduated from law school in 2003 and initially worked as a private civil attorney for a little over a year and then signed on with the Adam County District Attorney’s office where he held the title of County Court Deputy, Lead County Court Deputy, District Court Deputy and Senior District Court Deputy. He also was a founding member of the Vehicular Homicide Unit at the DA’s Office. Attorney Hartford left the DA’s Office in 2013 and for the last several years has been the founding stakeholder in The Law Office of Benjamin Hartford LLC. In that time he has focused on criminal cases but has also branched out into civil rights and civil work as well. Attorney Hartford is an avid skier and mountain biker and is looking forward to participating in his first half Ironman in 2016.
